Project Overview
Formulary packs typically include key information on clinical efficacy, safety, licensing, posology, and budget impact to support local formulary applications. This example included a compliant HTML email, which was developed to facilitate the distribution of this information to Pharmacies and HCPs. Using the DIMETRIUM formulary application pack as a content guide, the pack was built using data from the SPC, and clinical trials. The project was a success, supporting effective and compliant communication with stakeholders, allowing the field teams to support the uptake of this crucial product.
The Challenges
Ensuring Compliance: Creating a compliant HTML email and formulary pack requires adherence to regulatory standards, which can be complex and demanding.
Effective Communication: Delivering detailed clinical and regulatory information (efficacy, safety, budget impact) in a clear and accessible way to diverse stakeholders like pharmacies and HCPs.
Content Accuracy: Building the pack using data from the SPC and clinical trials requires precise interpretation and presentation of technical data.
Stakeholder Engagement: Ensuring the material supports field teams in effectively communicating with and influencing healthcare professionals.
Timely and Coordinated Delivery: Facilitating distribution through email implies the need for coordination between content development and digital delivery mechanisms.
